Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Your workday will run from 7:15am to 3:15pm, Monday through Friday, providing a balanced schedule for both personal and professional fulfillment. The caseload includes 13 preschoolers with mild to moderate needs, offering a manageable and rewarding teaching experience.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience or strong interest in working with preschool-aged children with mild to moderate exceptional needs
• Must complete required fingerprinting for Pre-K classroom eligibility
• Familiarity with individualized education program (IEP) processes and documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families, administrators, and team members
• Organizational aptitude and the ability to adapt learning strategies to various learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate instructional plans tailored to each student's unique strengths and needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning experiences
• Monitor student progress toward IEP goals, documenting achievements and adjusting instruction as needed
• Communicate regularly with families to foster strong school-home partnerships
• Foster a nurturing, safe, and structured classroom environment
• Participate in planning and professional development activities throughout the school year
