Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in one-on-one counseling sessions with trauma injury patients, actively listening to their concerns and establishing rapport.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental and emotional disorders, utilizing best practices in diagnostic evaluation.

• Create individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, outlining strategies for coping, healing, and personal development.
\n
• Implement and modify treatment strategies in response to patient progress, ensuring that care remains tailored to their evolving needs.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources to facilitate comprehensive support for our patients.

• Educate patients and their families on stress management and coping techniques related to trauma recovery.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain your credentials as a National Certified Counselor through continuing education.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on trauma survivors, a population that presents unique challenges and requires specialized support. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
