Who We Are Petra Security runs an AI‑powered platform to protect SMBs from account takeovers. SMBs spend over $100 billion a year on cybersecurity and are facing increasingly sophisticated and frequent attacks. Business Email Compromise attacks (BECs) have exploded, rising 141% y/y, largely driven by AI phishing. They have become the #1 way that businesses lose money to cyberattacks. Petra detects more attacks and responds faster than any competitor on the market, while also triggering fewer false positives. We’ve grown very quickly, reaching mid‑7‑figures in ARR in a year. Over the last year, we’ve established ourselves as the best‑in‑class solution for account attack detection. We already protect over 1.6 million users across 10 000+ businesses. We win 90%+ of head‑to‑head tests and price premium, yet have extremely low customer churn. Our customers consistently tell us that Petra is the best product they’ve ever used. What You’ll Do Run full‑cycle deals from first conversation to close, with ownership over how we sell. Get great at discovery and ruthlessly qualify. Manage and own full sales cycles. Shape sales strategy directly with the founding team. Multi‑thread across technical and C‑suite types to get buy‑in. Represent Petra at conferences, roughly 1‑2x per month. Prioritize ruthlessly. Self‑source pipeline when needed through outbound, follow‑up, and creative plays. What You Bring 2–5 years of full‑cycle SaaS closing experience, ideally with ACVs in the $30k–$150k range and technical products that need buy‑in from both the tech team and the C‑suite. Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota in a fast‑paced, high‑output environment. Experience selling to both technical and budget‑controlling stakeholders. Strong command of MEDDPICC – you qualify deeply, forecast accurately, and surface risk early. Ability to connect product capabilities to tangible business outcomes like reduced risk and operational efficiency. Comfort navigating both a CISO’s technical concerns and a CFO’s budget questions in the same deal. Bonus: familiarity with Command of the Message and leading with value drivers, proof points, and deal mantras. Relentless – you qualify hard, follow up religiously, and always close next steps. Resourceful – you don’t wait for perfect. You figure it out and find a way. Accountable – you own your number.
