Work Environment

The position is full-time and performed onsite, primarily in our outpatient clinic setting. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Our team-oriented atmosphere is designed for open communication and shared learning, enabling healthcare professionals to collaborate effectively. We primarily focus on serving individuals covered by private insurance, emphasizing a cost-effective and patient-centered approach to therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and needs effectively.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, providing individualized treatment for one patient per hour.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and implement evidence-based interventions that promote recovery.
• Develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique conditions, incorporating diverse treatment methodologies.
• Enhance patients' mobility and functionality while aiming to reduce their reliance on medications and explore non-surgical options.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their treatment process to ensure adherence and enhance outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Engage in regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Valid New York State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board actions recorded.
• Demonstrable skill in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Proficient in the use of EMR systems, especially WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Strong background in successful treatment outcomes through personalized care protocols.
• Experience using various therapeutic modalities and fitness programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
