Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' physical condition to establish baseline functionality and to determine appropriate treatment methodologies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, stretching techniques, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment aimed at relieving pain and enhancing mobility.
• Document all treatment procedures, patient responses, and progress meticulously as per clinic protocols to ensure continuity of care and compliance with professional standards.
• Perform ongoing evaluations to redefine therapeutic goals, adapting treatment plans as patients progress or face new challenges.
• Assist in recommending and fitting patients with assistive devices when necessary, providing training for their effective use.
• Engage with patients, their caregivers, and health team personnel to provide education about physical therapy practices and assistive modalities enhancing patient care.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy through continuous education, attending workshops, and participating in professional societies, ensuring perpetuation of top-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population ranging from young children to senior adults who are recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgical procedures. Our clinic emphasizes a holistic approach to rehabilitation, focusing on the physical, emotional, and social aspects of healing to support each patient's journey toward independence and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory.
• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in computer systems and word processing required for maintaining patient records and engaging with electronic health systems.

Preferred Experience
