This position primarily operates in a remote setting, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring that your clients receive the care they need. Although our team works from various locations, we maintain close-knit collaboration through regular virtual meetings, securing a supportive network among peers. Our office is open Monday through Saturday, allowing for a diverse range of scheduling options tailored to both client and counselor availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, ensuring that tailored treatment plans are developed that align with client needs.

• Implement graduate-level clinical social work and counseling interventions effectively, demonstrating a strong understanding of therapeutic modalities.

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams through documentation and communication during patient rounds to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care strategies.

• Provide case management for assigned patients, engaging with community resources and healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care.

• Ensure ethical and timely documentation in compliance with department expectations, enhancing the continuity of care for clients.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to assist clients in achieving their individualized service objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Lifeline Counseling Solutions, you will work with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, including adults and adolescents struggling with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role is vital in helping these individuals navigate their unique challenges and utilize coping strategies that foster resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the State of New Jersey.

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health services in an outpatient setting.

• A willingness to provide flexible hours, ranging from 10 to 40 weekly sessions, depending on client needs and your availability.
