Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive, and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, identifying their unique mental health needs.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs and goals outlined during the assessment process.
\n
• Handle administrative tasks including billing, documentation, and completing individualized treatment plans and insurance authorization forms in a timely manner.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to ensure clients maintain stable functioning.
\n
• Create effective discharge plans that equip clients for success post-therapy, supporting their ongoing health and well-being.
\n
• Remain compliant with all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies to ensure the highest standard of care.
\n
• Commit to ongoing professional development by attending training sessions and seeking continual education opportunities.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to collaborate on treatment strategies and share insights with colleagues.
\n
• Complete all licensing and mandatory training required for your role to maintain a valid practice.
\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Texas.

• Prior experience providing therapy in a community health setting is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with mental health billing practices and documentation standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
