Operating within our community health clinic framework, you will engage with other mental health professionals, forming part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing the highest level of care. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments for clients using best-practice strategies, collaborating with patients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals and circumstances. Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches, to achieve optimal outcomes. Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all client interactions and treatment plans are appropriately recorded. Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of clients’ mental health. Engage in ongoing education and support for clients and their families, helping them understand mental health conditions, available treatment modalities, and community resources. Stay abreast of advancements in mental health research and therapeutic practices, actively integrating new knowledge into your clinical work. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clientele varies widely, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related challenges. We serve a diverse community in Lakewood, New Jersey and surrounding areas. Qualifications A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey. Demonstrated application of solution-focused therapy techniques, enabling you to provide personalized, effective client care. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, which are crucial for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members. Strong problem-solving capabilities, allowing you to navigate complex client situations thoughtfully and effectively.
