Key Responsibilities\n

• Performing thorough preliminary interviews and documenting case histories from initial consultations through to treatment completion, leveraging electronic health record systems such as AVATAR.

• Assessing clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health to formulate effective intervention strategies.
\n
• Crafting and implementing individualized treatment plans that address personal, couple, family, or group dynamics.
\n
• Leading individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to facilitate productive dialogues and interventions.
\n
• Monitoring and documenting client progress to ensure continuous improvement and timely adjustments to treatment plans.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to develop cohesive intervention strategies, ensuring every aspect of the client's care is addressed.

• Providing follow-up care and supporting the transition of clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring they receive appropriate post-discharge support.
\n
• Engaging with family members and primary caregivers to equip them with strategies for managing mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Comfort of Home, you will work with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma-related disorders. You will be instrumental in providing compassionate care that resonates with each individual’s unique experiences and backgrounds, emphasizing inclusivity and respect for all.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensing as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington State.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated previous experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing your capacity to handle various client scenarios effectively.

• Proficiency with electronic health record management systems to streamline workflow and maintain accurate records.
