Key Responsibilities\n

As a Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for individual and family therapy sessions, developing treatment plans tailored to specific psychological needs.

• Facilitating structured group therapy sessions, allowing clients to engage in constructive dialogue and mutual support.

• Building and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships with clients, emphasizing the importance of trust and healthy boundaries.

• Demonstrating cultural competency by effectively working with a diverse patient population that presents various DSM diagnoses.

• Utilizing evidence-based psychosocial assessments to administer patient-specific treatment plans and monitor their progress.

• Documenting all aspects of therapy sessions rigorously, ensuring compliance with medical necessity standards and best practices in mental health documentation.

• Completing daily charge sheets for therapy sessions, ensuring accurate tracking of client interactions.

• Participating actively in weekly treatment planning meetings to collaboratively develop care strategies and share progress reports.

• Assisting in the formulation of Discharge Aftercare Plans to ensure continuity of care after therapy has concluded.

• Engaging in professional development through attending seminars, workshops, and relevant training to remain informed of the latest trends in mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A valid, unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the State of Texas.

Preferred Experience\n
