Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to accurately diagnose mental health disorders through interviews and standardized assessments.

• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring close monitoring of their impact while responsibly modifying dosages according to patient responses.
• Deliver psychotherapy and counseling, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to the needs of patients.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, integrating various therapeutic perspectives.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and strategies for self-care, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
