Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team at a school-based mental health clinic in Henderson, Nevada. In this full-time onsite position, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality mental health care to students, addressing their unique psychological and emotional needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to assess and diagnose mental health disorders in students, utilizing clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of each student, ensuring holistic and effective care.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications for students, adjusting dosages based on ongoing evaluations of effectiveness and any side effects experienced.
• Deliver psychotherapy and counseling sessions using therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) to engage students meaningfully.
• Collaborate with educators and other mental health providers to coordinate care, facilitating an integrated approach toward the student’s mental wellness.
• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and available resources for ongoing support.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient progress, including tracking responses to treatment and conducting regular follow-ups to ensure plan adherence and effectiveness.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case conferences to discuss treatment plans and share insights that enhance collaboration across the care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse student population ranging from elementary to high school age, many of whom may have varying degrees of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Your empathetic and responsive approach will be essential in creating trusting relationships, enabling students to confront and manage their mental health needs proactively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, with a master's level education in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid PMHNP certification and licensure to practice in Nevada.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to diagnose and develop treatment plans for a variety of mental health disorders.
• Proficiency in documenting clinical information and treatment plans accurately and efficiently.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect and engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting, preferably in a school-based or community health environment.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations regarding student privacy and mental health services.
• Experience with crisis intervention strategies and behavioral management techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an attractive salary range of USD 200,000 – 250,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
