Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our Assisted Living Facility in Henderson, allowing for direct interaction with residents and their families. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments including physical exams, diagnostic tests, and screenings tailored to individual health profiles.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions, providing appropriate treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Develop and implement innovative health education programs in collaboration with local organizations, addressing preventive care and lifestyle modifications.
• Provide culturally sensitive healthcare, advocating for patients’ rights while ensuring access to necessary services.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care to guarantee continuity in treatment and improved health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with healthcare regulations and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve residents of an Assisted Living Facility, many of whom are elderly and may have chronic health conditions requiring ongoing management. This requires a nuanced understanding of geriatric care and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families. Your work will directly contribute to improving overall patient satisfaction and health outcomes within this vulnerable population.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required.
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification and an active state Nursing license.
• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in community health or public health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and work effectively with diverse populations, including patients from various cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
