Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) at Long Beach Counseling Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, creating and fostering rapport, and developing trusting relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, stability, and future appointments, and preparing for discharge when appropriate.

• Designing, implementing, and monitoring person-centered treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client.

• Maintaining detailed and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans for each client.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate new clients’ mental health status and treatment requirements.

• Engaging in one-on-one therapy sessions weekly, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Participating in individual supervision to discuss cases and enhance clinical skills.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to create holistic treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on youth clients, who may present with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and substance abuse. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
