Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients by establishing rapport and positive working relationships while adhering to professional ethical standards.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, check on their stability, and schedule future appointments, including discharge planning when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that are centered around the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes for each client session, ensuring compliance with clinic policies.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine the clinical needs of new clients.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions each week, utilizing evidence-based practices and tailored interventions.

• Participate in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and receive constructive feedback.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver integrated and holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves a youth-focused clientele within the context of a community health clinic, addressing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. The licensed counselor will be pivotal in offering support to young individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes, ensuring they receive compassionate and effective care tailored to their developmental stage.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.

• At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations, demonstrating a solid understanding of mental health disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
