Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive strength-based assessments to understand clients' mental health backgrounds and needs.

• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic sessions aimed at individual clients, couples, and family units, using evidence-based practices.

• Develop tailored therapy plans that emphasize client resilience and foster skill-building, addressing areas such as stress management, coping strategies, and interpersonal relationships.

• Implement crisis intervention protocols as needed, creating safety and wellness plans to ensure client protection during emergencies.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues and treatments.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist in this role will work primarily with diverse populations experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field is required.

• A valid and current LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in Virginia.
