Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and culturally sensitive evaluations for new clients, working to establish rapport and trust.

• Design and implement tailored therapy plans for individuals, couples, and families that focus on skill-building and resilience development.

• Address acute mental health crises by developing and executing safety and wellness plans that provide structured support to clients in distress.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or others as appropriate to the client demographic.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with organizational standards and state regulations.

• Engage in regular consultation with colleagues to enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds and may present with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and relational issues. We particularly prioritize therapeutic approaches that respect each client’s cultural context and individual needs, ensuring personalized and effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an Active LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in Virginia.

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting that involved addressing complex mental health issues.

• Demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills that promote trust and engagement with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
