Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one therapeutic sessions via telehealth platforms, addressing the unique needs of each patient and modifying treatment methodologies as required.

• Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans, documenting patient progress meticulously using electronic health record systems.

• Obtain thorough patient histories, complete assessments, and develop diagnoses in accordance with DSM-5 standards.

• Advocate for patients by identifying and coordinating necessary services and resources while reporting any changes in behavior or condition to the treatment team.

• Assist in orienting patients and their families to treatment objectives, ensuring clarity and understanding regarding their therapeutic journey.

• Manage crisis situations with composure, applying skills learned through secure training and maintaining the safety and well-being of all patients.

• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and strategize on best practices for complex cases.

• Complete progress notes and clinical documentation at the end of each shift, ensuring they are accurate, legible, and reflective of the treatment goals set for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse spectrum of clients, including adults, children, couples, and families from various backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California.
