Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, enabling flexibility to connect with clients from a comfortable and productive environment. Although the majority of sessions may be conducted virtually, you will also have the opportunity to engage within our outpatient office setting as needed. Our schedule is designed to promote work-life balance, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with Couples Learn, Ltd, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs and developing personalized therapy plans that align with evidence-based practices.
\n
• Leading therapy sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other relevant techniques to facilitate growth and healing.
\n
• Incorporating behavioral methods and therapeutic exercises tailored to individual client needs, fostering their development and enhancing coping strategies.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous client records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and privacy regulations, including thorough documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
\n
• Engaging actively in professional development activities including workshops, training, and supervision meetings to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse clientele including couples, families, and individual adults dealing with varying psychological issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Your work will involve creating a safe space for clients to express their struggles and work cooperatively towards achievable therapeutic goals. By providing guidance and support, you will play a pivotal role in improving their overall mental wellbeing.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in providing counseling and therapeutic services.

• Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, with a knack for building rapport and trust with clients.
\n
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, the following experiences and qualifications will give candidates a competitive edge:

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
