Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of clients, guiding the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, tailored to the unique needs of individuals, families, and groups.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic approaches to client care.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and quality of care.

• Remain engaged with ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in psychological health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults, which necessitates a comprehensive understanding of different therapy approaches suitable for various age groups and backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing counseling services in a setting that emphasizes patient care and collaboration.
