Work Environment

This full-time position requires your presence on-site at our rehabilitation facility in Keansburg. You will be working alongside a dynamic team of healthcare providers, including specialists, occupational therapists, and administrative staff. The work atmosphere is supportive and focused on collaboration, where open communication is encouraged to ensure every patient receives personalized treatment. The standard working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include a variety of vital responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of new patients to establish detailed treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
• Implementing individualized therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation protocols tailored to each patient's specific needs, while continually monitoring and documenting progress.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care across all facets of the rehabilitation process.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation that meets compliance and regulatory requirements, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge evaluations.
• Participating in ongoing training and staff meetings to share insights and enhance professional development.
• Providing patient education and support to empower individuals in their recovery processes and help them understand their treatments.
• Addressing any changes in patient condition promptly by adjusting treatment plans as necessary in consultation with the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions, requiring a profound understanding of physical rehabilitation principles. Your expertise will help us support a diverse clientele, from athletes to seniors, enhancing their mobility and functional capabilities.

Qualifications

Required qualifications for this position include:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Current American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar rehabilitation setting, with a strong foundation in orthopedic therapy. Experience in outpatient rehabilitation environments will be considered a significant asset.

Compensation and Benefits
