Work Environment

This role is situated in a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Keansburg, New Jersey. Our onsite facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and resources, designed to facilitate effective patient treatment and recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians through detailed physical assessments to determine their specific needs and conditions.
• Develop, document, and implement customized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring alignment with physicians' directives.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions in both the clinic and, where appropriate, the patient's home setting, utilizing procedures tailored to individual recovery goals.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes, actively participating in case discussions and treatment planning.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing wellness.
• Meet predetermined utilization goals and contribute to the facility's operational objectives through effective patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions. Your expertise will enable you to tailor treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient, helping them navigate their recovery journey with compassion and skill.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or therapeutic setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety in clinical practice.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear interactions with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health record systems.
• A strong ability to build rapport with patients and foster relationships that facilitate successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a variety of patient populations and physical therapy specialties.
• Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based practices in treatment plans.
• A history of community involvement and patient advocacy.

Compensation and Benefits
