Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our fully-equipped Rehabilitation Center in Matawan, New Jersey. The facility is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere conducive to healing and rehabilitation. Our flexible scheduling allows Physical Therapists to choose hours that best suit their lifestyle, working Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in a home care environment, assessing their physical needs and establishing individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic methods such as exercises, manual therapy techniques, and sophisticated equipment aimed at alleviating pain and enhancing mobility.
• Design and implement personalized treatment strategies that focus on achieving specific therapeutic goals, helping patients to optimize their functional capabilities.
• Maintain meticulous records of treatment progress, patient responses, and reassess objectives to adapt care as necessary.
• Advise on and fit patients for assistive devices such as walkers or wheelchairs to facilitate self-care and improve mobility when indicated.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on the proper use of assistive devices and home care strategies related to physical therapy.
• Engage in professional development activities such as attending workshops, staying updated through professional publications, and networking within the industry to continually enhance therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes a diverse range of individuals, from young children to seniors, all facing various challenges due to injuries, chronic conditions, or post-surgical recoveries. As a Physical Therapist at Constant Physical Therapy, you will work closely with patients to navigate their rehabilitation journeys, tailoring your approach to meet unique needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent is required for this position.
• Must possess a valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Flexibility and agility to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not required, candidates who have clinical rotations or internships in specialized settings will be viewed favorably.
• Experience in home care services or knowledge of assistive technology is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, our benefits package includes:
