Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical condition and concerns.
• Evaluate movement dysfunctions and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Instruct patients on the correct application of therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Administer therapeutic techniques such as massage and manual therapy to promote healing.
• Assist patients in utilizing adaptive equipment like wheelchairs and walkers to enhance their mobility and independence.
• Document patient progress and update records in accordance with established guidelines and compliance requirements.
• Provide guidance to patients and their families regarding home exercise programs and self-care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
