The Mobility Project Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at our rehabilitation center in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Work Environment

Our center operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and establish specific treatment goals.
• Implement and monitor individualized treatment programs designed to enhance patients' functional movement, decrease pain, and promote overall well-being.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to conduct therapy sessions, employing modalities such as manual therapy, exercise regimens, and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, serving as a key liaison in case discussions and treatment planning.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure accountability and maintain effective communication with the healthcare team.
• Advocate for alternative treatments to traditional medical interventions, reducing reliance on medications and the need for surgery through effective therapy.
• Encourage patients to adopt healthier lifestyles that foster long-term wellness, including education on injury prevention and fitness maintenance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The orthopedic department at Mobility Project serves a diverse patient population including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our clients range from young athletes needing rehabilitation post-injury to older adults recovering from hip or knee replacements. As a Physical Therapist, you will tailor your approach to meet the unique needs and health aspirations of each patient, guiding them through their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• A strong professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with patient education and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
• Familiarity with the latest clinical practices and rehabilitation technologies.
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, along with performance-based bonuses.
