This position offers a flexible, remote work setting that emphasizes the importance of work-life balance. Our outpatient office model allows for a dynamic work schedule, with a standard work week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations to understand the mental health needs of trauma injury patients and develop customized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual requirements.

• Establish strong therapeutic relationships by actively listening to patients, understanding their concerns, diagnosing mental or emotional disorders, and engaging them in their treatment journey.

• Teach patients effective coping strategies and stress management techniques, enhancing their ability to manage their conditions.

• Continuously monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and community outreach programs, coordinating services necessary for patients’ holistic care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing education courses to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and stay updated on best practices in the field.

• Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records accurately and efficiently, utilizing Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

• Advocate for patients by providing them with resources and support systems required to reach their personal goals and improve their quality of life.

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals recovering from trauma-related injuries, facing unique mental health challenges. These patients often struggle with anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Your goal will be to help them navigate their emotional landscapes, implement effective coping strategies, and facilitate their recovery journey through personalized care solutions.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with trauma patients in outpatient settings.
