About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Sales, who will be responsible for overseeing the division and Senior and Regional Consultants. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain close relationships with the sales team, sales management, and clients, as well as partner with Senior Managing Directors to implement sales strategies in the respective markets. This role involves personnel management, talent development, goal setting, and performance discussions. The Managing Director will also be tasked with ensuring the team is well-trained, current on industry issues, and in compliance with both internal and external regulations. Additionally, the role requires the ability to travel extensively and the position demands a professional with a BS degree or equivalent experience, a minimum of 8-12 years' of related experience, and at least five years of external sales experience. The ideal candidate for the Managing Director position at the company will have a strong background in leadership, communication, and in-depth product knowledge. They should possess outstanding interpersonal, analytical, selling, and presentation skills, and be capable of meeting the extensive travel requirements of the role. The role also requires the candidate to have a FINRA license in accordance with the company's policy. The Managing Director will be expected to stay abreast of industry trends, develop strategic plans, and ensure the implementation of business plans to achieve divisional and company goals. The position is pivotal in setting challenging goals, promoting collaboration, and driving for results within the sales team.
