Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations to create personalized treatment plans.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and modality applications to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Document treatment plans, patient progress, and responses to therapy accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adapt treatment goals and strategies based on continual assessment and patient feedback, ensuring that care evolves with the patient's needs.
• Assist patients in the selection and use of assistive devices, such as walkers and braces, to enhance their self-sufficiency and mobility.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and family members on rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs to facilitate recovery.
• Stay informed on best practices in physical therapy by participating in workshops, reviewing literature, and networking with professionals within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role focuses on a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from a range of conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological disorders, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. By engaging with each patient on an individual level, you will help them regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required. Candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• A current and valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with patients and the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in utilizing word processing and computer systems for documentation and communication purposes.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
