Serenity Solutions Medical Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner (NP) to enhance our outpatient practice focused on advanced cardiac care. This role will operate within the Center for Advanced Cardiac Care (CACC) under the guidance of our Chief Nurse Practitioner and the Medical Director, ensuring the delivery of top-notch cardiology services in an innovative healthcare setting.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our well-equipped hospital facility, where you will work closely with a dynamic team of cardiologists, fellow Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and administrative staff. This collaborative setting allows for seamless communication and enhances the quality of care provided to our patients. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work-life integration with no on-call duties, night shifts, or weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner in our outpatient cardiology department, you will:

• Collaborate with cardiologists to formulate and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
• Monitor and manage patients experiencing hypertension and high cholesterol to ensure optimal health outcomes.
• Offer specialized outpatient Electrophysiology services, assisting patients with abnormal electrocardiograms and arrhythmias, as well as facilitating care for device patients.
• Evaluate and manage acute cardiac conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Valvular Heart Disease, Stroke, and Transient Ischemic Attacks.
• Conduct stress testing procedures as necessary to assess cardiovascular health.
• Receive valuable consultation and supervision from our experienced on-site cardiologists, enriching your professional development.
• Perform thorough patient histories and physical examinations, while prescribing medication and treatments as required.
• Make referrals to specialists within our medical group when necessary, ensuring continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their family members about their conditions and health maintenance strategies, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will work with a diverse patient population that primarily includes individuals with various cardiovascular conditions. Our patients range from those requiring routine monitoring and management of chronic illnesses to those dealing with acute cardiac events, necessitating comprehensive evaluation and treatment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid and active state Nurse Practitioner license.
• A completed accredited Nurse Practitioner program that meets departmental needs.
• A Master’s or doctoral degree in nursing.
• Certification in the pertinent specialty area, particularly focused on cardiology or a related field.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome both experienced NPs and recent graduates, prior experience in a cardiology-related inpatient or outpatient setting is preferred, particularly related to the management of cardiovascular diseases.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
