Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized one-on-one therapeutic sessions that utilize solution-focused techniques to empower adolescents in addressing their mental health concerns.

• Support adolescents in developing critical skills aimed at overcoming both immediate and long-term challenges, fostering resilience and adaptability.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive treatment planning, including performing crisis evaluations to ensure timely and effective interventions.

• Implement crisis intervention assessments and necessary screenings to accurately determine treatment needs, ensuring swift and appropriate care.

• Provide targeted treatment and support for adolescents presenting with complex behavioral health issues, including serious mental illness and developmental disabilities.

• Facilitate group counseling sessions covering various mental health topics, encouraging peer support while equipping clients with vital coping strategies.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client intake processes, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.

• Deliver training programs for probation and detention staff, empowering them with actionable skill-building strategies to better supervise adolescents.

• Establish effective communication with community providers to ensure seamless discharge planning and continuity of care post-treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage primarily with adolescents who are navigating mental health difficulties, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma-related issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
