Operating as a Community Health Clinic based in Waterbury, Connecticut, we focus on providing accessible mental health care tailored to the needs of our diverse client population. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday during business hours, with no evening or weekend commitments, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate Group Therapy: Conduct engaging group sessions where clients can share experiences, develop interpersonal skills, and connect, fostering a sense of community and healing.

• Provide Individual Therapy: Deliver personalized counseling sessions focusing on clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors using evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to help them build coping strategies.

As an LPC at Presbyterian Health Center, you will work closely with individuals seeking assistance with emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

• Educational Background: A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Licensure: Current LPC licensure in Connecticut is a must.

• Clinical Experience: Prior experience in mental health treatment, particularly with mood disorders, in either residential or outpatient settings is essential.
