Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students and their families, identifying emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans, ensuring that they align with educational objectives and the unique needs of each child.

• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including crisis intervention, brief and long-term therapies, and family consultations, tailored to each student’s situation.

• Engage in effective communication with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to collaboratively develop care strategies that enhance student outcomes.

• Facilitate discharge planning and smooth transitions for students requiring additional support services post-hospitalization.
\n
• Provide education and counseling to parents and caregivers on strategies for enhancing their child’s coping mechanisms and adaptation to challenges.

• Educate and engage with school staff regarding psychosocial issues, fostering a supportive environment that promotes student well-being.

• Participate in on-call responsibilities as necessary, addressing urgent needs or questions from families or children after hours.

• Lead workshops and presentations at educational conferences, positioning yourself as an expert in the field of psychosocial support in educational settings.

This role specifically targets children and adolescents facing emotional, social, and developmental challenges. We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
