Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and collaborate on individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques, to facilitate effective therapy for individuals, couples, and families.

• Maintain accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, and utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation.

• Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork, collaborating with medical professionals and other specialists to provide holistic care that addresses the client’s overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Care First, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health care. You will work with clients facing various psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your insights and therapeutic interventions will directly contribute to their improvement and overall mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
