As a specialist within our Detox Center facility, you will engage with clients via digital platforms, providing meaningful care that transcends geographical barriers. Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, your essential duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive screenings and evaluations to accurately diagnose clients and identify their unique needs.

• Collaborating with clients to develop and document individualized treatment and crisis plans that are clear, measurable, and tailored to their specific goals.
\n
• Applying your knowledge of psychopathology and various psychotherapeutic modalities to effectively address clients' behavioral health concerns.
\n
• Triage clinical emergencies swiftly and execute safety protocols in line with program specifications, ensuring client safety is always prioritized.

• Employing evidence-based practice models to guide treatment plans and maintaining fidelity to these models throughout your work.

• Demonstrating awareness of both internal and external resources and facilitating effective and timely referrals for additional services as needed.
\n
• Upholding the productivity benchmarks established by the program while maintaining high standards of care.
\n
• Engaging in positive and effective communication with clients, their families, and various stakeholders.
\n
• Documenting all client interactions and relevant information according to agency policies and regulatory requirements.
\n
• Continuously enhancing your understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds and engaging in culturally competent practices to better serve our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your efforts will predominantly focus on low-acuity adults seeking mental health support, including those dealing with stress, anxiety, mild depression, and adjustment issues. These clients often require guidance and support rather than intensive clinical intervention. The strength-based, solution-focused approach you will implement aims to empower clients, fostering their resilience and encouraging personal growth.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a Doctoral degree in Psychology.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Connecticut.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in remote therapeutic practices, detox or rehabilitation settings, and familiarity with evidence-based intervention strategies will be preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to foster rapport with clients in a virtual environment are advantageous.
