Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Magellan Mental Health Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting intake assessments and formulating treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of couples and families.

• Providing therapy sessions, both individually and as a couple or family unit, addressing various issues including alcohol abuse, family conflicts, grief, and psychological concerns.

• Facilitating effective communication among family members to resolve conflicts and improve relationships.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients with medical issues impacting their mental health.

• Monitoring clients' progress throughout their treatment journey and making necessary adjustments to care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will focus on a diverse array of client situations, including but not limited to:

• Couples experiencing challenges such as separation, divorce, and blended family dynamics.
\n
• Families dealing with the aftermath of grief and loss, and individualized issues stemming from job stress or medical concerns.

• Children and adolescents, providing therapy to address conflicts within families, such as mother/daughter communication difficulties or sibling rivalry.

Qualifications\n

• Applicants must hold an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• Education requirements include a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, with a strong foundation in various therapeutic modalities is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 per year, with the added prospect of unlimited earnings through performance-based incentives.
