Work Environment\n

This role is designed for remote work, allowing for flexible engagement with clients while maintaining the necessary resources and communication channels to provide effective counseling services. Our outpatient model focuses on ensuring accessibility for our clients, enabling them to receive consistent care from the comfort of their homes. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evenings or weekends required to accommodate client appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address the emotional and psychological needs of geriatric clients.

• Facilitate pre-crisis and crisis interventions, ensuring timely development of crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans as needed.

• Document sessions and treatment progress meticulously to adhere to regulatory requirements and agency standards while utilizing electronic health record systems.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on the implementation of positive behavior support plans, ensuring continuity of care.

• Participate in licensing and accreditation processes, actively contributing to the quality assurance efforts of the center.

• Serve as a key liaison with state agencies and community partners to enhance resource sharing and promote program visibility.

• Maintain open lines of communication within the clinical team and with clients to uphold the integrity of our services and address client needs promptly.

• Engage in professional development by attending conferences, training sessions, and statewide meetings relevant to geriatric mental health.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support our service commitments.

The primary clientele for this role consists of seniors who may be experiencing various mental health challenges, including grief, depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution or university.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 95,000 annually, with opportunities for salary adjustments commensurate with demonstrated skills and contributions.
