This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while also engaging directly in an outpatient office setting in Roseville, California. This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance, while also requiring regular attendance at our outpatient office in Roseville for team meetings and patient consultations. Our office provides a warm, welcoming environment where therapists can connect with young clients and their families in person as needed. The team operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient demand. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that consider the developmental stages, family dynamics, and individual circumstances of each young client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide effective interventions for various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to engage parents and caregivers in fostering a nurturing home environment conducive to the young client's growth.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, ensuring coordinated care that holistically addresses each child's needs.

• Respond promptly and effectively to mental health crises, providing necessary support and intervention for children and adolescents in emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options, as well as community resources that can aid their journey to recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
\n
• Participate actively in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities.

• Stay current with developments in child and adolescent psychiatry through research and continuous education.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral issues. Understanding their unique developmental considerations is key as you work to implement age-appropriate therapeutic interventions that can significantly enhance their emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• Strong foundation in child and adolescent psychology, including familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and empathetic skills to effectively engage with young clients and their families.
\n
• Ability to build trust and rapport with children, adolescents, and families in a therapeutic setting.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic record-keeping and other relevant technological tools.
\n
• Capability to function effectively as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology preferred.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a relevant mental health environment is highly desirable.

• Prior experience in family and individual therapy with young patients is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
