Restore Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Fairfax, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatments that focus on preventing disability, relieving pain, improving muscle function, and restoring maximum independence for our clients.
• Conduct initial evaluations to assess clients' functional abilities using diagnostic tests pertinent to muscle, nerve, and joint functions.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the appropriate implementation of care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans based on continuous assessments and progress reports.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and treatments that employ physical agents such as massage and traction.
• Evaluate and fit clients with prosthetic and orthotic devices, providing recommendations and modifications to optimize their use.
• Document clinical records meticulously, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and treatment summaries, ensuring compliance with organization protocols.
• Engage in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and participate in case conferences for comprehensive care planning.
• Educate clients and their families on care plans, including the use and maintenance of therapeutic devices, to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring adherence to state regulations and best practice guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain issues. Our diverse client base includes individuals of all ages who require rehabilitative care to enhance their mobility and functionality. You will focus on delivering personalized care that considers each patient's unique lifestyle, needs, and rehabilitation goals, ensuring they regain independence and achieve their desired outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Valid and current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety.
• A comprehensive understanding of physical therapy principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with a strong ability to engage patients and their families effectively.
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence, integrity, and patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple patient cases.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly preferred.
• At least one year of experience working as a physical therapist in an acute care or home care setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in physical therapy software and documentation practices.
• Experience with interdisciplinary care coordination and a passion for leading patient care initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
