Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health statuses during initial consultations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique circumstances and goals, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Engage with clients on a regular basis through virtual therapy sessions, providing guidance, coping strategies, and tools to facilitate their progress.

• Monitor client outcomes and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary to ensure optimal results, including documenting session notes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).

• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, when clients require medication management or specialized care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Uplifting Behavioral System, you will work with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will provide individual therapy and may also conduct group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive methodologies that respect and honor the backgrounds and experiences of all clients.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid professional license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in providing mental health counseling in an outpatient setting.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy software.
