Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and interviews to gain insight into clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Document and maintain thorough client records throughout the treatment process, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations, considering each client’s unique circumstances and goals.

• Facilitate engaging and supportive individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster personal growth and healing.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans and therapeutic techniques as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care and manage client referrals.

• Provide ongoing support and education to clients' families and caregivers, equipping them with strategies to manage mental and behavioral challenges effectively.

• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in mental health treatments and methodologies to enhance your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of certification examinations, including the NCE (National Counselor Examination) or NCMHCE (National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination).

• Demonstrated experience providing mental health counseling with a focus on therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, to document client interactions and treatment progress.

• Experience addressing co-occurring physical and psychological health issues, as well as familiarity with substance use disorders and addiction treatment.

• Knowledge of the best practices as recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications and their implications for mental health treatment.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities that foster trust and rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
