This position is entirely remote and designed to offer flexibility that accommodates both your schedule and that of your clients. You will work primarily from your home office, utilizing advanced telehealth technology to deliver therapy sessions effectively. Our organization emphasizes work-life balance, and while you will typically maintain a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility in hours may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, fostering a community atmosphere among patients.

• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Respond to mental health crises with immediate, informed intervention, ensuring patient safety and appropriate support.

• Educate patients about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and community resources, enhancing their empowerment and recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines through our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes diverse individuals and families seeking support for various mental health issues. You will be working with patients who may be experiencing stress from life changes, emotional distress, or chronic mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of mental health disorders and their evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrable ability to conduct mental health assessments and develop effective, individualized treatment strategies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster patient engagement and trust.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing mental health counseling is required. Candidates with experience in telehealth methodologies, group therapy facilitation, and familiarity with community resources will be preferred. Compensation and Benefits\n
