Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments through interviews with students, observations, and reviews of educational and medical records, identifying emotional, social, and environmental factors that influence their academic performance and overall well-being.

• Provide one-on-one counseling and support for students and their families, focusing on coping mechanisms for adjustment issues, anxiety, trauma, and other emotional challenges.

• Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and other members of the rehabilitation team to develop individualized treatment plans that effectively address the psychosocial needs and learning goals of each student.

• Guide and assist students in accessing community resources, including support groups, housing assistance, and vocational rehabilitation, enhancing their ability to cope with life's challenges.

• Educate families about mental health issues and available community services, facilitating seamless transitions to post-rehabilitation support systems.

• Actively participate in discharge planning and case management, ensuring smooth transitions for students returning to their home environments or other care settings.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
