The Firefly Support Groups Counseling Center is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapists to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment\n

You will work from home, ensuring flexibility and comfort in your daily routine while engaging with clients via teletherapy platforms. Although remote, we encourage frequent virtual interactions with our multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes psychologists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals, to foster a cohesive and collaborative atmosphere. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a degree of flexibility needed to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and create individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-backed methodologies and solution-focused strategies.

• Implement various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address a spectrum of mental health issues.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

• Foster collaboration among the treatment team through regular case consultations and peer reviews to enhance the quality of care provided.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to engage actively in their care.

• Continuously update your knowledge base on the latest research and innovations in the mental health field to ensure best practices are employed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele comprises individuals grappling with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play an essential role in guiding patients towards recovery and stability, contributing to their overall well-being through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential, while a Master’s or Doctorate in a relevant discipline is preferred.

• Active licensure in the state of California is required, with acceptable credentials including Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Practitioner Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Proficient in solution-focused psychotherapy, capable of designing customized care strategies based on individual patient assessments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
