Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each client's unique trauma background, facilitating tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to provide impactful therapy.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma, strategize coping mechanisms, and promote holistic healing.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and other professionals, to ensure integrated and comprehensive client care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention in trauma-related emergencies, offering steadfast support to clients and their families.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping skills, and the resources available to facilitate recovery.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations and professional development workshops focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily includes individuals grappling with trauma-related disorders and various mental health issues. We specifically welcome behavioral health generalists who are open to providing couples therapy as well. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from a regionally accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value strong applicants willing to grow with us.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed care, and resilience-building techniques.

• Evidence of hands-on experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and necessary computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive compensation package including a salary of up to USD 110,000 annually, complemented by guaranteed pay with annual increases, bonus opportunities, and paid orientation.
