Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial consultations and comprehensive mental health evaluations to ascertain clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, applying diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to clients' specific challenges.

• Document all client interactions and track progress from the initial assessment through the entire course of treatment, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff, to create cohesive intervention strategies that enhance client recovery.

• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, ensuring effective response to therapeutic interventions.

• Provide referrals to additional resources and support services when necessary, ensuring clients receive holistic care.

• Engage with clients' families and primary caregivers, providing them with necessary tools and support to assist in managing any mental health challenges.

Our clients come from various backgrounds and may present with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and addiction disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A passing score on the NCE or NCMHCE exam.
\n
• Proven experience working as a mental health counselor, demonstrating the ability to apply therapeutic techniques effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, preferably with experience in AVATAR or similar platforms, to maintain accurate client records.

• Strong understanding of mental health conditions, including the interplay between physical and emotional health.

• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, alongside a compassionate approach to client interactions.
