Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gather pertinent information regarding patients’ emotional and psychological needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy. Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, adapting sessions based on the unique needs and preferences of each client. Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, designed to foster community and share coping strategies related to mental health concerns. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated care. Offer crisis intervention when necessary, acting swiftly to support clients during mental health emergencies. Educate clients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and the resources available within the community. Maintain thorough and confidential documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards. Engage in case consultations and team meetings to continuously improve care delivery and partake in professional development opportunities. Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health therapy to enhance the quality of care provided. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients you will serve represent a diverse spectrum of ages, backgrounds, and mental health needs. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals struggling with acute and chronic mental health issues, providing a safe space for dialogue and healing. By offering custom-tailored therapy approaches, you will help empower clients on their journey towards recovery and emotional stability. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas. In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based practices. Demonstrated competence in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans. Experience providing both individual and group therapy to varied populations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport and trust with clients. Sound professional judgment and strict adherence to ethical standards. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and office productivity applications. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-driven environment that prioritizes client-centered care. Preferred Experience Experience working in a telehealth setting, utilizing virtual platforms for therapy and consultations. Specialized training or certifications in preferred therapeutic modalities. Previous experience with crisis intervention and management. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
