Details MS/Tele float pool position within a teaching hospital setting 36 hours per week on night shift (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) Float required within OSU facilities Some weekends and holidays required EPIC EMR experience required Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration 2 years of RN experience required Previous travel nursing experience required BLS certification required ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications preferred IV start and tele monitoring skills required Teaching hospital experience preferred Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager, director, or supervisor; second reference may be from a Charge RN; no coworker references accepted Additional Information Provide nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a float pool capacity Local candidates accepted at the same rate Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility Current employees of any Ohio State University hospital location are ineligible for travel positions RTO must be submitted with application and built into contract, limited to 7 days or less Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract due to strict compliance deadlines First-time travelers not considered for this position due to travel experience requirement American Traveler Job ID P-741214.
