You will operate from home, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as AVATAR, to document and track client progress. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and document each client's journey from initial consultation through treatment completion.

• Evaluate and assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health using evidence-based practices.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on clinical assessments.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that foster healing and support.
\n
• Monitor and report on client progress throughout the treatment lifecycle, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to enhance treatment quality.

• Provide essential follow-up for clients admitted to the hospital, ensuring continuity of care post-discharge.

• Proactively identify and address behaviors that may hinder client recovery, advocating for effective coping strategies.

• Assist and educate family members and primary caregivers about managing mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Regain Strength Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse client base, including adults facing a range of psychological challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. Your role will necessitate a nuanced understanding of the various ways mental health conditions can impact clients and their families, fostering recovery through empathy and skilled interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A passing score on either the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with a track record of effective client care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR.

• Experience working with clients experiencing co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• A strong understanding of the best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth knowledge of the impacts of medications prescribed by medical specialists on mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
