Work Environment\n

This position operates within a fully remote telehealth environment, where you will connect with clients through secure virtual platforms. While maintaining a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, there is flexibility to adapt your hours based on client needs, ensuring you can deliver care effectively while managing your personal schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that respect and integrate the cultural backgrounds of patients, enabling you to create tailored treatment plans.

• Execute evidence-based therapeutic interventions that align with the specific needs of each individual, utilizing approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) when appropriate.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to discuss mental health challenges, providing a safe space for healing and personal growth.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, employing de-escalation techniques and emergency response protocols as needed.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment strategies, and resources within the community to promote their overall well-being.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending case conferences, participating in team meetings, and completing ongoing cultural competency training.

• Stay updated with the latest developments in mental health research and treatment practices to further enhance therapeutic outcomes for your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Life Solutions Counseling Center, you will primarily work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, including those belonging to ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant populations. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid, current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Texas.

• Solid understanding of cultural competence in therapy, and proven skills in delivering individualized and group therapy.

• Experience in crisis intervention, demonstrating the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to engage diverse populations effectively and empathically.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications for documentation and treatment planning.

• Strong commitment to uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and established therapeutic boundaries.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring quality care for all patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
