This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to serve clients while maintaining a work-life balance. Our operations function seamlessly during standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, providing ample opportunities for collaboration and consultation without the constraints of an in-person setting. By utilizing telehealth platforms, you will connect with clients from the comfort of your home, employing modern technology to conduct assessments and therapy sessions effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, providing a solid foundation for tailored treatment planning.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor clients' progress regularly, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans and ensuring the highest quality of care.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care, sharing insights that enhance treatment efficacy.

• Engage in continuous professional development to remain informed of the latest research and methodologies in mood disorder treatment.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans according to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with mood disorders, impacting their day-to-day functioning and overall quality of life. These may include clients dealing with various levels of depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Many of our clients come from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, requiring an approach that is both culturally competent and sensitive to their experiences. Your role is vital in creating a therapeutic alliance based on trust and empathy, helping clients navigate their mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and active license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

• Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities specific to mood disorders.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and collaboration with medical professionals for integrated care.

• A history of successful outcomes in the treatment of clients with mood disorders, demonstrating an ability to enact lasting change.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
